Markets – love them or hate them?

I think the best thing about a market is the atmosphere and seeing the amazing variety of creative people getting out there and showing the world their wares. It’s these very people who are passionate about what they make and create and they love what they do.

Perth Upmarket held at the University of Western Australia, now in its tenth year, is one such great market with a fantastic variety of stalls. If you ever visit WA make sure you check this one out.

One thing I really enjoy is meeting all the lovely customers who come to say hi and are so enthusiastic and passionate about my business as I am. And for those that haven’t seen us before, I love that I can chat to them and tell them exactly what we are all about. Plus, of course the opportunity to try on all our nail polish colours. However, we are not just about nail polish.

At Perth Upmarket we launched our new sustainable wood caps that are hand turned in beautiful Albany in the Great Southern of Western Australia #supportlocal.

Each individual cap has a distinct smell of Cypress oil, which makes each bottle unique. We also launched our foundation project Polish to Plant. In our ongoing effort to be an eco friendly sustainable business on the forefront, this initiative seemed perfect. For EVERY nail polish bottle purchased, we will be planting a tree. Locations will be in the Wheatbelt of Western Australia and around Denmark, in the Great Southern of Western Australia. So far (one week on) we are committed to planting 139 trees – and this is all because of YOU! Follow our Instagram for updates. How many can we do – well, the future is in your hands.

And markets? We LOVE them!
